London-based Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of prodco Hoho Entertainment, has secured new international TV and SVOD sales for its animated series Cloudbabies and Everybody Loves a Moose.
South Africa’s ETV has snapped up preschool series Cloudbabies, while in Poland, AMC’s international children’s channel Jim Jam has acquired the program and TVN has taken SVOD rights.
In addition, the 52 x 10-minute series from award-winning art director Bridget Appleby will literally be heading to the skies after a deal inked with Australia’s Stellar Entertainment for its in-flight services on Jetstar Airways.
Meanwhile, 52 x seven-minute animated comedy for six- to seven-year-olds Everybody Loves a Moose, from Italy’s Trion Pictures, is heading to Dubai-based MBC’s channels across the Middle East and North Africa.
The deals follow Hoho Rights’ appointment of Jayne Pitts to head of sales last year.
A number of Cloudbabies and Everybody Loves a Moose sales to broadcasters including Gloob (Brazil) and CBeebies (South Africa) were finalized in May soon after her arrival.
