German brand management and media company m4e has sealed a pan-Latin American deal, including Brazil, with distributor Buena Vista International for the CGI-animated preschool series Tip the Mouse.

The agreement gives exclusive pay-TV and basic subscription TV rights to Disney Junior Latin America for the co-pro from m4e, Studio Bozzetto & Co., Giunti Editore, Studio Campedelli and Rai Fiction. Launch dates in each market are yet to be announced.

The 52 x seven-minute series follows the adventures of a tiny, whimsical mouse and his family who all live in a small house in the corner of a meadow that is filled with things humans have lost (such as a straw and a shoe), all of which the mice use in new ways.

Based on the popular children’s book series of the same name by Italian author Andrea Dami, which has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide, the series originally launched on pubcaster France 5′s ZouZous block before also heading to French pay-TV Canal+ preschool net Piwi+ in September.

In April, m4e tapped Paris-based Planeta Junior as the licensing agent for the IP in France as well as several CEE territories.
