Fresh off promoting Laura Clunie to VP of entertainment, Toronto, Canada-headquartered Spin Master has once again mined its in-house talent to fill senior executive roles within the division.

Patricia Burns (pictured) has been tapped as senior director of production and supervising producer, while Courtney Sanford is now director of the company’s recently launched SpindoTV digital platform.

Burns joined Spin Master in 2013 to produce preschool series PAW Patrol from its Toronto office. She previously worked as VP of production and supervising producer at Nelvana, where she led production teams and built partnerships with Asian, European and North American animation companies.

Sanford, meanwhile, has been with the company since 2012 and is based in Spin Master’s L.A. office. He has produced 52 eps of Japanese co-pro Tenkai Knights and will now head up all production and creative for SpindoTV. He has more than 15 years experience in the kids entertainment business, including stints at Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

Spin Master most recently noted a 20% increase in Q2 revenues – largely thanks to its girls and preschool segment – in its first quarterly report as a publicly traded company.
