Sweden-based Saltkrakan – The Astrid Lindgren Company has a new licensing manager in Jessica Eriksson as the company looks to expand its portfolio in new markets.

The company, which licenses the trademark of famed Pippi Longstocking author Astrid Lindgren, has been ramping up its activity surrounding new TV series  Ronja, The Robber’s Daughter, co-produced by Japanese Studio Ghibli. The company owns and manages the rights associated with Lindgren and her authorship.

Eriksson’s appointment comes as a number of licensing programs are set to roll out based on Lindgren’s characters. She was previously licensing project manager at TV4-Gruppen, and  has been at the forefront of her own licensing company, Early Bird Licensing, since 2010.
