South Africa’s Sunrise Productions is set to release the first mobile game app based on its hit non-dialog CGI-animated series Jungle Beat.

Launching at the end of August on the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store, concurrent with the show’s third season debut across Europe on Boomerang, Jungle Beat: The Game is a puzzle gameĀ for kids four to 11 that features an exciting 25-level animal rescue mission.

In the game, kids can play as popular Jungle Beat characters such as Elephant, Firefly, or Monkey, and they must use their special skills to rescue Baby Ostrich who has become lost in the jungle.

To date, Irish distributor Monster Entertainment has sold seasons one and two of Jungle Beat to broadcasters in 182 countries, and to nearly 40 airlines.

Sales secured after MIPTV earlier this year cover Europe, North America, Africa and Latin America.

Season four is currently in production and plans are in the works for more digital and licensing activity.
