Cyprus-based agency P. & R. Permissions & Rights has expanded its relationship with Konami Digital Entertainment-owned 4K Media by licensing additional Yu-Gi-Oh! titles for broadcast and home video distribution in Eastern Europe.

As co-owner MAG Network, P. & R. has snapped up season one of popular anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL for its children’s channel Ultra TV in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Macedonia, and the content has also been licensed to Orlando TV in Croatia and Slovenia.

Episodes will start airing in October and a deal with a Hungarian broadcaster is imminent.

In addition, episodes from the second season of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D have been acquired to air later this fall, while season two of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL has been picked up for broadcast in fall 2016.

P. & R.’s broadcast license with 4K spans Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia.

For 2016 home video distribution deals, the agency has partnered with BGD Media for season one of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL and season two of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D in Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, and Macedonia, and with Menart in Croatia and Slovenia.

The Yu-Gi-Oh!  franchise currently houses more than 650 episodes, which have been translated and broadcast in more than 65 countries.

The latest deals follow the April appointment of Jonitha Keymoore as 4K Media’s new director of program sales.
