Starting September 7, Disney XD viewers in the US will have a chance to see what happens when a pickle and a peanut navigate high school life together in Reno, Nevada.

From the mind of Fish Hooks creator Noah Z. Jones, and developed by Yo Gabba Gabba!’s Joel Trussell, Pickle and Peanut follows the unusual teenage adventures of an emotional pickle (Jon Heder, Napolean Dynamite) and a freewheeling peanut (Johnny Pemberton, 22 Jump Street). The series finds the duo embarking upon their last year of high school, where they dream up plans to be anything but ordinary in their bizarre fictional suburb of Reno, Nevada.

The series, produced by Disney Television Animation, carries a TV-Y7 parental guideline and uses a mix of 2D animation and live-action clips.

The premiere episode will be available on WATCH Disney XD, Disney XD on Demand and DisneyXD.com beginning Tuesday, September 1 in the US. New eps will air Mondays through October 5.
