Burger King serves up global Slugterra, Lalaloopsy promo

The QSR giant has launched a global promotion featuring Slugterra and Lalaloopsy toys with kids meals.

Burger King restaurants worldwide have launched a month-long promotion featuring toys from DHX Media’s boys property Slugterra and accessories from MGA Entertainment’s girls brand Lalaloopsy.

Boy can choose from four Slugterra toys with their kids’ meals, while girls will receive either a Jelly Wiggle Jiggle Locket Necklace, Bubble Smack ‘N’ Pop Compact, Jewel Sparkles Hair Combs or Pickles B.L.T. Sound Clip.

Created by Vancouver, Canada-based animation studio Nerd Corps, which DHX Media recently acquired, Slugterra is entering its third season this summer and has been greenlit for a fourth by DHX Television.

As for Lalaloopsy, the success of MGA Entertainment’s doll line has so far spawned an extensive consumer products program and an animated series, which was picked up by Nickelodeon in 2013.
