Catering to young audiences accustomed to on-demand viewing, Zodiak Kids has launched two new multi-platform YouTube channels called ZeeKay and ZeeKay Junior.

ZeeKay targets kid and tween audiences, with clips from series like Totally Spies, Team Galaxy, Martin Mystery and LoliRock. Alongside clips and content from Zodiak shows, the channel will also run newly-commissioned tween content such as Scrambled!, a live-action morning show from the UK’s CITV.

For the preschool demo, Zodiak has rolled out ZeeKay Junior. Along with clips from shows including Mister MakerWaybuloo and Zack & Quack (pictured), the channel will also support new online pilots.

Zodiak is working with its recently announced production arm Zodiak Kids Studios and third party producers to create original content for the two new kids portals.

ZeeKay and ZeeKay Junior leverage Zodiak Kids’ existing online presence, which includes over 1.6 billion views on YouTube for the Zodiak Kids catalogue. The channels will also be available on the YouTube Kids app, with new content uploaded on a regular basis in the form of long-form compilation clips, short clips, extras and bespoke content.

Both channels will be managed by Natalie Walmsley, Zodiak Kids’ digital channel manager.
