Hulu picks up raft of Cartoon Network shows

Hulu has inked its first-ever licensing deal with Turner Broadcasting System for exclusive rights to stream past seasons of hit Cartoon Network and Adult Swim shows in the US.

Hulu has inked its first-ever licensing deal with Turner Broadcasting System for exclusive rights to stream past seasons of hit Cartoon Network and Adult Swim shows.

The agreement between the SVOD service and Turner includes current CN series such as The Amazing World of Gumball, Steven Universe, Over the Garden Wall, Clarence, Ben 10, Adventure Time and Regular Show. Hulu has also been granted exclusive US SVOD rights to upcoming series launching on Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, TNT and TBS.

Hulu’s growing kids content library includes popular Nickelodeon titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, which airs on PBS KIDS, as well as a trio of Disney Junior shows, most notably Doc McStuffins.
