Mondo TV Suisse, a member of Italy’s Mondo TV Group, has secured a co-production and distribution deal with South Korean toy and licensing company Aurora World for the fourth season of animated series Yoohoo & Friends.
The 52 x 11-minute CGI-animated series is based on the popular Yoohoo and Friends plush toy line, which is owned by Aurora.
Under the co-pro pact, each company will provide 50% of the production budget, which is over US$6 million, including promotions and marketing. Mondo TV Suisse and Aurora will share the revenues from the distribution of the series and its related licensing and merch.
