Winners announced for the first-ever Irish Animation Awards

Irish animation studio Brown Bag Films was a three-time winner at the inaugural Irish Animation Awards, which took place last week in Dingle, Ireland.

Irish animation studio Brown Bag Films was a three-time winner at the inaugural Irish Animation Awards, which took place last week in Dingle, Ireland.

Henry Hugglemonster, from Brown Bag, picked up the award for best animated preschool series, while the company’s animated co-pro Bing (pictured) received two awards for best director and best design.

Conceived by industry org Animation Ireland, the awards celebrate the top creative talent within the country’s animation, VFX and gaming industries.
