Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) has expanded the CP program for preschool hit Peppa Pig in Germany with freshly inked deals, bringing the total number of German Peppa licensees to 20.

WDR mediagroup (WDRmg) has been appointed to rep Peppa Pig in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where the brand currently airs on WDR and KiKA.

Viewers can also expect to see more Peppa as WDR has snapped up season five and six and renewed seasons one and two in the region.

Additional licensing agreements have been secured with Ravensburger (puzzles, games, activity books), VTech (electronic learning) and Simba (construction blocks). Products are expected to roll out from spring 2015 on.

The deals follow the March launch of a Peppa Pig toy line in Germany from master toy partner Big on Toy Innovation.

On the global front, Peppa Pig products are slated to roll out in the US early next year, spanning publishing, sporting goods, plush and toys, stationery and confections.

Peppa Pig is an Astley Baker Davies production that, to date, has been sold into more than 180 territories worldwide.
