Toronto, Canada’s Corus Entertainment has revealed the fall 2014 schedule for YTV, which kicks off the week of October 6 with new and popular returning series for kids and families including the kidcaster’s annual Fangtastic Halloween programming event.

Max & Shred, a YTV, Nickelodeon and Breakthrough Entertainment co-production, and one of four new live-action series on the slate, will make its Canadian debut on October 7 at 7 p.m. ET/PT after premiering on Nick in the US on October 6.

The 26 x half-hour comedy series follows the odd-couple bromance of snowboard star Max Asher and scientific whiz-kid Alvin Ackerman.

On October 8, also at 7 p.m. ET/PT, crime-fighting comedy Henry Danger from Dan Schneider (Sam & Cat, iCarly) and Dana Olsen (George Of The Jungle, Inspector Gadget) will bow.

The 20 x half-hour program follows a 13-year-old boy, Henry, who lands a part-time job as Kid Danger, a sidekick-in-training to super crime fighter Captain Man.

Rounding out YTV’s new live-action shows are Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (13 x half hours) from creator Matt Fleckenstein (Wendell & Vinnie, Victorious), which launches at 7 p.m. on October 9, and Mission: 4Count, an eight x half hour reality series debuting on October 11 at 6 p.m. that takes a behind-the-scenes look at a new boy band discovered and managed by Nick Cannon.

Returning series include Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways and The Thundermans, the second seasons of Rabbids Invasion and Sanjay & Craig, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season 3, as well as Breadwinners, Kung Fu Panda, Undercover High and Numb Chucks.

For Halloween, YTV is launching a brand-new Fangtastic Halloween lineup from October 22 to 31 featuring frightful episodes from select hit shows weekdays from 6 p.m. and Halloween specials and movies (Hotel Transylvania, Paranorman).

The fall lineup also extends online at YTV.com with a web-only exclusive of the first six episodes of Legend of Korra (book three) on November 1, followed by the remaining episodes on November 15.
