London-based distributor Cake is bringing the precocious Angelo back to rule the roost in season three of Angelo Rules.
The animated comedy (52 x 11 minutes) is co-produced by Cake and French animation studio TeamTO. Slated for 52 new eps, the third season is currently in production and will be launched next year. France Télévisions has signed on as the commissioning broadcaster, and broadcast deals are locked in with Cartoon Network International and Super RTL.
Targeting kids ages six to 11, the series follows expert manipulator Angelo, a genius with a knack for sweet-talking his way out of trouble. The first two seasons have already aired in more than 150 countries, with season two receiving a kids animation nom in the Emmy Kids Awards 2013.
