Further proving the power of digital content, infant-focused network BabyFirst TV is set to air The KneeBouncers Show, its first series based on an app property.

The series draws from the successful KneeBouncers Great Play with Purpose app, an educational gaming experience for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, from the minds behind baby/toddler gaming site kneebouncers.com.

Scheduled to premiere on Monday, August 11, The KneeBouncers Show aims to break down language and age barriers, encouraging its young viewers to learn through shapes, colors and music.

It features the app’s popular characters SlyCat, Freddy, FooFoo, Caesar, Horatio and Sammy, and provides music from world-renowned, classically trained pianist Robert Hitz.

The series launch comes on the heels of BabyFirst jumping into the second-screen interactive space through a partnership with AT&T.

BabyFirst TV is currently available to more than 80 million households in 33 countries including the US, where it reaches more than 40 million homes via DIRECTV, Dish Network, Comcast and AT&T U-verse.
