Cory and Topanga still have it. Disney Channel will bring back the comedy series Girl Meets World for a second season.

The show’s July premiere netted 5.2 million viewers and averaged around 3 million viewers per episode, making it one of the most watched kids series on TV. The show has also generated 4.7 million views on the WATCH Disney Channel app to date.

Long before it hit the air, Girl Meets World generated a lot of buzz among fans of the original Boy Meets World, as the spinoff show reintroduced Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) now married with a preteen daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Season one follows the lives of Riley and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), best friends who navigate life in junior high.

Last month, Disney Consumer Products debuted a line of tween apparel inspired by Riley and Maya, available only at Kohl’s stores and online.
