Bunks, a new zom-edy (zombie-comedy) from Toronto, Canada’s Fresh TV is making its debut on US net Disney XD this Monday, June 16.

The funny horror movie was developed by Fresh TV and Inferno Pictures, in association with Disney XD Canada and FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.

It follows trouble-making brothers, Dylan and Dane O’Reilly, as they escape their military bootcamp to the greener pasteurs of Camp Bushwhack, only to accidentally trigger a curse that brings a campfire zombie story to life.

Bunks was created by Fresh TV’s Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, and produced by Brian Irving. The trio is also known for creating My Babysitter’s A Vampire. Its director is Tibor Takács (The Gate, The Gate II: Trespassers, Sabrina The Teenage Witch).

The horror comedy stars Dylan Schmid (Once Upon A Time) as Dylan O’Reilly and Aidan Shipley (Flashpoint) as Dane O’Reilly.

FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has international distribution rights to Bunks outside of Canada.
