Mind Candy has unveiled its latest franchise, a combat strategy game called World of Warriors. Among the 30 featured characters of warriors throughout history include samurai, knights, Mongols, ninjas, Vikings and Apaches. The game targets kids six and up, and will be available for download on iOS and Android devices.

This is the London-based studio’s first project since Moshi Monsters, an online multiplayer game that launched in 2007 and has amassed more than 80 million subscribers, not to mention its own movie deal. While widely successful, Moshi Monsters has seen a dip in its popularity.

Monthly traffic to its site from American visitors dropped from 1.7 million in January 2013 to 743,000 in December, according to digital business analytics company ComScore. British visitors, meanwhile, also fell from 1.3 million to 730,000 per month over the same time frame. However, Mind Candy has recently taken Moshi mobile with the release of the Moshi Monsters Village app and Moshi Karts racing game.

After a year of development, World of Warriors is scheduled for release later this year. Click here to watch the teaser.
