LadyBug crawls toward new continents

Paris-based PGS Entertainment has inked licensing deals for Zagtoon and Method Animation’s LadyBug┬áseries in Brazil, Canada and Australia that will come into effect in Q2 of next year.

The 26 x 26-minute TF1-commissioned animated series, created in collaboration with Japan’s Toei Animation, is headed to Gloob in Brazil, Telet-Quebec in Canada and to ABC in Australia.

LadyBug follows the story of Parisian junior high students who are also superheroes.

Disney Channel recently picked up the exclusive pay-TV rights to the series in Europe, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, as well as free to air rights in Spain, Germany, Russia and Turkey.
