Australia’s ABC3 has commissioned a second installment of the teen action series Nowhere Boys, which will begin filming in Melbourne later this spring.

Returning for series two are the four lead actors: Joel Lok (The Home Song Stories) as Andy; Dougie Baldwin (ABC TV’s Upper Middle Bogan) as Felix; Rahart Adams (Every Witch Way, Neighbours) as Sam; and Matthew Testro (Eden).

The show’s second season is produced by Matchbox Pictures, with assistance from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Film Victoria. NBCUniversal has international distribution rights, apart from Australia and New Zealand, where it’s repped by the Australian Children’s Television Foundation.

The show’s first season was recently shortlisted as a finalist at the upcoming Prix Jeunesse International 2014.
