The awards for the 17th annual TIFF Kids International Film Festival were announced this weekend at a ceremony at TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto, Canada, honoring the best-in-show across feature films, short films and digital installations and apps.

The winners include:

TIFF Kids Adult Jury Award — Best Live-Action Short Film

Anything Goes (Alles Mag), director Steven Wouterlood, Netherlands. (Dutch with English subtitles,
International Premiere.)

Honorable mention goes to A Different Tree, director Steven Caple Jr., US, English.

TIFF Kids Adult Jury Award — Best Animated Short Film
My Mom is an Airplane, director Yulia Aronova, Russia/US. English.

Honorable mention goes to The Dam Keeper, directors Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo, US. English.

TIFF Kids Audience Choice Award — Best Feature Film
Regret! (Spijt!), director Dave Schram, The Netherlands.

TIFF Kids Audience Choice Award — Best Short Film
The Numberlys, directors William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg, US. English.
