Debbie Ries has resigned from Texas-based NCircle Entertainment, the kids-focused distribution company she founded in 2006. During the past seven-plus years, as SVP and GM, Ries built NCircle into one of the top independent distributors of children’s home entertainment, and it has a portfolio stuffed with quality kids programming and brands.

During her tenure, significant NCircle brand and program acquisitions have included The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, The Octonauts, Sid the Science Kid, Mike the Knight, Dino Dan, Pocoyo, The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom, and many more.

Before establishing NCircle, Ries was SVP at HIT Entertainment/Lyrick Studios. She was an integral part of the team that launched children’s brands including Barney the Dinosaur, The Wiggles, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder and Veggie Tales.

Also leaving NCircle  is Alexandra Ries, VP of sales and business development.  She has been with NCircle since its inception, leading its distribution strategy across retail with a creative approach and unwavering dedication to best-in-class customer service.
