UK production company Laughing Gravy Media, founded by ex-Impossible Kids staffers Karl Woolley and Jon Doyle, has signed a five-year strategic relationship deal with Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of fellow UK company Hoho Entertainment.

The deal gives Hoho Rights the first look at all new Laughing Gravy projects in development. As part of the agreement, Laughing Gravy will leverage Hoho Rights’ experience in TV distribution, licensing and merchandising.

The first project arising from the strategic venture is already in pre-production and a commissioning announcement is expected shortly.

Currently, Hoho Rights represents Cloudbabies, Abadas, Everybody Loves a Moose, Mimi & Bibi and Toddler Time.

Laughing Gravy Media is currently co-producing Dinopaws, a CGI preschool animated series with London’s Kindle Entertainment and Guru Studio in Toronto, Canada, for UK pubcaster CBeebies and Canada’s Treehouse.
