Nickelodeon ups Audrey Diehl

Ten-year Nick veteran Audrey Diehl has been promoted to VP of animation development for Nickelodeon Group from her previous position as executive director of development.

Ten-year Nick veteran Audrey Diehl has been promoted to VP of animation development for Nickelodeon Group from her previous position as executive director of development.

Her new responsibilities include providing development guidance for the kidsnet’s new animated series, talent sourcing, pre- and post-production supervision duties for animated pilots, as well as outreach efforts within the animation industry.

She will report directly to Jenna Boyd, Nickelodeon’s SVP of animation development.

In her previous role, Diehl was tasked with finding and developing unique new series and she led a number of development projects including new series Bad Seeds and Pig Goat Banana Cricket.

Since joining Nick in 2003 in current series, she provided creative notes on storyboards, art direction, music and animation for a number of successful productions including My Life as a Teenage RobotCatscratchEl Tigre and Fanboy & Chum Chum.

She also helped deliver Nick’s brand new hit series Sanjay and Craig.
