California toyco Jakks Pacific, which has been making a significant push into the interactive toy space, is going big with a line of large-scale physical figures based on Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ upcoming Godzilla film.
Under a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Jakks will bring Godzilla to life through a 43-inch large-scale figure and other toy products.
The Jakks-Warner Bros. deal marks a decade-long partnership, which also includes recent collaborations for Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Trilogy, properties also brought to life in Jakks’ Big Figures line.
The Godzilla product line is expected to hit major retailers in time for the theatrical release this May.
