Luca Milano has been upped to executive deputy director at Rai Fiction, the TV drama and animation production company belonging to the Italian pubcaster.
Milano will still act as head of animation, while also now overseeing all marketing, planning and animation activities for Rai Fiction.
Earlier this fall, Rai Fiction struck a broadcast deal with Atlantyca Entertainment, Imira Entertainment and Inspidea on 2D-animated comedy/adventure series Bat Pat, which is now heading into production. Rai Fiction is also underway on a third season of children’s toon Geronimo Stilton.
