Nurture Rights, the new kids entertainment company set up by Peter Curtis and Nick Barrington, has secured Random House Children’s Publishers UK  as the new home for the picture book Dinosaur Roar.

The deal, which was negotiated with Sue Buswell at RHCP, also sees the property expanded into an extensive new publishing program developed in association with the Natural History Museum. Random House will re-launch the original picture book in April 2014 to coincide with the title’s 20th anniversary, alongside the launch of a new website. The ongoing publishing program will include a Dinosaur Roar storybook range, color and activity books, board books and novelty books.

The Natural History Museum, Random House and Nurture Rights are working closely together on the launch program for 2014, which will feature an international traveling exhibition and a range of merchandise.

Dinosaur Roar! by Paul Stickland and Henrietta Stickland was first published in 1994 and has sold more thanfive million books worldwide.
