Canadian kids media company Corus Entertainment and French-Canadian youth specialty channel VRAK TV have inked licensing agreements for Daddy, I’m a Zombie, from California-based PorchLight Entertainment.
Corus’ YTV and Bell Media-owned VRAK TV acquired the broadcasting rights for the animated tween movie for English and French Canada, respectively.
And Toronto-based Phase 4 Films has also licensed home video rights in Canada and the US, as well as rights for US digital platforms.
Aimed at kids ages six to 17, Daddy, I’m a Zombie focuses on a teenager who, disillusioned with her adolescent life, embarks on a journey as a zombie in which she must travel through the underworld to reclaim the very life she took for granted.
PorchLight is distributing the film in all rights and media in the US and Canada.
