Sony Consumer Products appoints UK agent

Sony Pictures Consumer Products has tapped London, UK-based Rocket Licensing, which reps Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Annoying Orange and Lionsgate UK, as its new licensing agent to manage its portfolio of theatrical and television properties in the UK and Eire.

Sony Pictures Consumer Products has tapped London, UK-based Rocket Licensing, which reps Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Annoying Orange and Lionsgate UK, as its new licensing agent to manage its portfolio of theatrical and television properties in the UK and Eire.

Rocket and Sony will kick off their partnership by launching a licensing program for the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters in 2014.  As well, the partners will look to expand categories for a number of IP including Fantasy Island, The Karate Kid and Bewitched.

Theatrical films will also be a part of their portfolio with titles such as Hotel Transylvania 2 in 2015.
