Atlantyca Entertainment, Imira Entertainment, and Inspidea have inked broadcast deals with Italy’s Rai Fiction and Spain’s RTVE for 2D-animated comedy/adventure series Bat Pat.

The deals come as production is set to begin on the first 52 x 11-minute season, which follows the spooky adventures Pat, who happens to be a bat, and his human friends the Silver siblings, Martin, Leo, and Rebecca, as they help uncover mysteries involving ghosts, mummies, witches, monsters and werewolves in their hometown of Fogville.

Bat Pat is based on the successful Atlantyca book series, which has been published in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Belgium, China, Turkey and Brazil.

The broadcast deals come on the heels of Luxembourg-based GD Entertainment Fund’s new investment in four of Imira’s animated series that includes Bat Pat.
