In a new partnership with the BBC, Glasgow, Scotland-based digital content creator Chunk has released Wolfblood 2: Leader of the Pack, a unique multiplayer online game based on the second season of CBBC’s hit teen fantasy series Wolfblood.

In a technical first for the BBC, the game allows players to record their races and stats which other users can access to compete in challenges without having to connect online at the same time, and no personal data is stored by the BBC.

As Wolfblood characters in the action runner game, players can run and jump through treacherous wooded environments in missions based on new story elements tied to the TV series as it airs, but not seen on TV screens.

The game’s multiplayer modes let players compete against shadow wolves which are the recordings of other user’s runs. Players can send each other their top performances and can drop in to race against the recorded gameplay.

Wolfblood 2: Leader of the Pack is the third online game created for the series behind series one tie-in Wolfblood: Dark Moon and Wolfblood: The Mystery of Stoneybridge.
