As kids head back to classrooms this fall, Whole Foods Market has joined forces with PBS Kids in a new partnership that provides online and in-store resources in support of nutrition for kids and families.

The partnership will kick off this September leveraging PBS Kids’ new math-based preschool series Peg + Cat (pictured, launching October 7). Whole Foods stores across the US will offer a number of educational resources for shoppers including recipes and activities based on the series that promote problem-solving and healthy eating habits.

A new website, pbskids.org/healthykids, has also launched and features online and offline activities including healthy eating tips and recipes from PBS Parents Kitchen Explorers that encourage kids to explore new foods.

Additional online tools, such as kid-friendly recipes, meal-planning and budget tips for families, and nutrition information for all ages, are available at wholefoodsmarket.com.
