Nick grants Activision master video game license for SpongeBob

Nickelodeon and Activision Publishing have inked a new global, multi-year agreement to develop and publish video games featuring the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants IP.

Nickelodeon and Activision Publishing have inked a new global, multi-year agreement to develop and publish video games featuring the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants IP.

The first game to be published under the new deal is SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge,  an action-adventure title set to be released on October 22nd for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Wii U and the Nintendo DS and 3DS handheld systems.

 SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is a third-person, co-op gaming adventure, developed by Behaviour Interactive, which combines exploration, adventure and puzzle-solving.
