Disney Channel’s new animated series Wander Over Yonder, from creator and producer Craig McCracken (The Powerpuff Girls), is set to premiere on September 13, and the show will bridge multiple platforms ahead of its debut.

The comedy follows an optimistic intergalactic traveler and constant do-gooder Wander, and his quick-tempered but loyal steed Sylvia. A first-look telecast of the series will air on August 16, following the premiere of Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel. And in a similar fashion to other recent Disney Channel premieres, the show will be available to WATCH Disney Channel app users the following day. Beginning August 23, kids can visit Disneychannel.com/Wander and play themed games, share animated photo albums and watch videos. And two of Wander Over Yonder’s season premiere episodes will be available on iTunes as a free preview on August 30.

The series features the voice talents of 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer as Wander, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse vet April Winchell as Sylvia. Series guest stars include James Marsden (X-Men), Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation) and Edie McClurg (Wreck-It Ralph).
