Culver City, California-based SDI Media has acquired Spain and Portugal-based Soundub Studios. With studios in Barcelona, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela and Lisbon, Soundub is the leading localization provider in the region. The acquisition widens SDI’s footprint to include more than 39 different markets around the world.
With the addition of Soundub, SDI’s corporate umbrella includes more than 140 recording rooms and more than 65 mix rooms worldwide.
The newly acquired studios will be consolidated into SDI Media Iberia, and will report to SDI’s European organization.
