Animal Planet has released a new app for Kindergarten-aged kids called Hide & Seek Pets. Developed by US-based app maker Cupcake Digital in partnership with Discovery Communications, the app is the first in a series designed using new US Core Curriculum State Standards (CCSS).

Designed for kids ages three and up, this app features domestic pets interacting in their native environments as part of learning activities that promote counting, sorting, tracing, as well as memorizing shapes, letters, numbers and animal characteristics.

Hide & Seek Pets is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Barnes & Noble.
