The Legendaries move from comics to TV

One of the most successful kids comic book properties in France will make the transition to the small screen thanks to a new development deal between TF1, Genao Productions and Delcourt Publishing.

One of the most successful kids comic book properties in France will make the transition to the small screen thanks to a new development deal between TF1, Genao Productions and Delcourt Publishing.

A new animated comedy adventure series for kids ages six to 12 combining elements of manga, video games and literature and based on the original Patrick Sobral-created comics Les LĂ©gendaires (The Legendaries) will be developed for TF1’s TFOU channel .

To date, more than 2.4 million books have been sold and in 2011, the comics were the second best-selling comic books  in France behind the Adventures of Tintin.
