I Love Television (ILTV), the company behind Genie in the House, is launching a new CGI/live-action sitcom called My Bleeping Life. The show will make its debut at MIPTV next month and will headline the company’s 2013 slate.

Belgian producer Be-Film has been secured as a co-production partner and ILTV will be in Cannes looking for further co-production, distribution and merchandising deals for the property.

Created by head writer Grant Cathro and executive producer Phil Ox, the 26 x half-hour series follows the titular character Bleep, a robot built by super-advanced alien civilization as a multi-tasking home helper that has been mistakenly delivered to a 14-year-old girl.

The series will be delivered in fall 2014, and ILTV says it is in advanced talks with a number of international broadcasters.

ILTV’s MIPTV slate also includes a lineup of shows for 2014, including Tracers, an action comedy about an unlikely group of high schoolers with only one thing in common – their new ability to see aliens in everyday life. ILTV is also bringing newly finished episodes of Which is Witch? season one to the market.
