Toronto, Canada-based Breakthrough Entertainment has secured a deal with ITV that will see the broadcaster air the CGI/live-action series Dino Dan in the UK for the first time.

The series, produced by Canadian animation studio Sinking Ship Entertainment and distributed worldwide by Breakthrough Entertainment, targets kids ages four to seven and follows the adventures of a 10-year-old boy who can bring dinosaurs to life with his imagination.

The latest deal comes after Toronto’s The Licensing Shop added three new licensees and signed three new international sub-agents for the property in November 2012.

The brand has also expanded with an extensive licensing program including licensees Ruckus Media (eBooks, enhanced eBooks, story-based apps), Ncircle Entertainment (DVDs), and Pioneer Balloons and Geoworld (toys).
