Former Cookie Jar Entertainment co-founder, president and COO Toper Taylor has re-launched ToperTaylor.com and has been appointed as a non-exclusive consultant by DHX Media to help execute the company’s digital media sales and initiatives.
Working closely with DHX CEO Michael Donovan, president Steven DeNure and SVP of distribution Josh Scherba, Taylor quietly began his new role in October 2012 after animation producer Cookie Jar Entertainment was acquired by DHX Media.
The newly re-launched ToperTaylor.com, Taylor’s full-service executive consulting firm that originally launched in 2000 after Corus Entertainment purchased Nelvana, is also now working with clients including St. Louis, Missouri-based toyco Cepia (Zhu Zhu Pets), gaming giant Electronic Arts and Indian investment banking firm Morris Street Advisors.
The changes have seen Taylor, along with his Cookie Jar associates Mark Shoeman (sales and distribution), Stephanie Gonzalez (licensing), and Candice Winters (office manager and executive assistant), relocate from Burbank to DHX’s Los Angeles office in Sherman Oaks that also houses subsidiary Wildbrain.
