Alphanim inks raft of international broadcasting deals

Paris-based Alphanim has sewn up a number of new TV deals around the world including selling three of its hit animated kids series to US premium subscription channel Starz.

Heading to Starz are the eco-themed actionerThe Green Squad (52 x 13 minutes), season two of 52 x 13-minute adventure-comedy Gawayn, and 52 x 13-minute comic book-based comedy Toto Trouble.

In other new deals, ABC Australia also snapped up the second season of Gawayn, Disney Channel ordered Mouss & Boubidi  (52 x one minute) for South Korea, Megamax picked up all three seasons of Galactik Football (78 x 26 minutes) for Czech Republic and Slovakia and MTV3 renewed Christmas series Santa’s Apprentice (52 x 13 minutes) for Finland.

The latest deals come on the heels of Alphanim signing new TV deals across Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and Brazil in September.
