Toronto licensing agency Studio Licensing has been appointed to rep popular children’s music brand Kidz Bop in Canada.

The deal will see Studio Licensing launch a new Canuck consumer products program in 2013.

Kicking off the launch on January 15, Kidz Bop 23 will be released in Canada and the US followed by a 2013 TV advertising campaign.  The TV spots will begin to rollout on YTV, Teletoon Retro and Nick Canada in mid-December. In addition, appearances, events, and press opportunities featuring the Kidz Bop kids are planned for 2013.

Since launching, Kidz Bop has become the leading music brand for kids ages five to 12 in the US and includes the popular social networking and content sharing website, KIDZBOP.com. Kidz Bop features today’s biggest hits sung by kids for kids.  Kidz Bop 22 debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 200 chart and spent four consecutive weeks in the Billboard Top 10.
