As part of its strategy to extend its reach into the kids market, Canada’s Tricon Films & Television has acquired its first preschool series, JiggiJump, from Toronto-based indie producer Markle Productions.
The live-action and 3D-animated series, led by Canadian singing duo Judy and David, aims to help preschoolers get physically active through imaginative and musical adventures. Solis Animation is spearheading the show’s animation and background designs.
JiggiJump is currently in production and slated to premiere on Canadian pubcaster CBC’s preschool block in 2013.
