Toronto, Canada’s Nelvana Enterprises will launch three new animated series, Oh No!, Paboo & Mojies and two Franklin and Friends specials, as well as new seasons of Beyblade, Detentionaire, Scaredy Squirrel and Sidekick at MIPCOM next month.

Oh No! (52 x 11 minutes), aimed at kids ages six to 11, is created by Philippe Ivanusic-Vallee and Peter Ricq (League of Super Evil), follows kid hero Nate and his Super Wicked Extreme Emergency Team (S.W.E.E.T.) as they wage a war of resistance against a group of aliens who have invaded earth and stolen all of the planet’s grownups.

Paboo & Mojies (52 x 11 minutes) is a Japanese toon for preschoolers that features a curious boy panda, Paboo, and focuses on problem solving and imagination. The series, a hit on Japan’s BS Fuji TV, has been remodeled for international audiences.

Rounding out the new series are two new Franklin and Friends specials (two x 44 minutes), Pole to Pole and Under the Sea, featuring the popular turtle character. The Franklin property is produced by Nelvana and the Franklin and Friends series debuted on Canada’s Treehouse TV in March 2011.
