New consumer products licensing, marketing and brand equity company Global Pursuit has tapped veteran marketing executive Amanda Wang to head up licensing and marketing initiatives in China, effective immediately.
Wang jumps over to Global Pursuit from her most recent role as a manager of Click! Licensing Asia, a position she held for more than six years overseeing hit properties including Sesame Street, Pink Panther, Paul Frank and Mr. Men and Little Miss.
Global Pursuit was officially launched in May as a joint venture between Taiwan-based online game developer and film and television content producer Gamania Digital Entertainment and San Francisco, California-based brand marketing and licensing agency Brand Reality.
From offices in San Francisco, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, Global Pursuit plans to develop and promote new IPs and existing brands globally in the areas of media, entertainment, fashion, music and home décor.
