Teletoon Canada is welcoming a mix of long-running and new series as well as movies to its fall programming lineup for kids, which kicks off September 3.
For Cartoon Network, Teletoon Canada’s new channel that launched on July 4 after a deal between Teletoon and the Turner Broadcasting System, programming highlights include the Canadian premiere of the new adventure movie Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens and an exclusive preview of the new Ben 10: Omniverse series (pictured) which will debut on September 22. The fourth installment of the hit franchise follows a now 16-year-old Ben Tennyson who embarks on a mission to explore a secret alien city with his alien partner Rook.
In the lead-up to the new Ben 10 movie and new series, CN will launch a series of Ben 10 marathons throughout the Labor Day weekend featuring back-to-back episodes of Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien as well as Ben 10 movies Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, Ben 10: Race Against Time and Ben 10: Alien Swarm.
Moving to the Teletoon daytime lineup, a Scooby Doo Mystery Movie Weekend will air over the Labor Day weekend and new programming highlights include the network premieres of Marvel’s new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series and The Amazing World of Gumball.
On the returning series front, season three of Adventure Time with Finn and Jake and the latest season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars are set to air along with new seasons of original series Detentionaire, Johnny Test, My Babysitter’s a Vampire and Stoked as well as acquisition titles Transformers: Prime and Looney Tunes.
Teletoon movies announced include Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Tooth Fairy and How to Train Your Dragon.
On Teletoon Retro, The Mighty Hercules, My Little Pony and Bobby’s World (created by Canadian comedian, actor and America’s Got Talent host Howie Mandel) have been included in the fall lineup.
