Australia’s SLR Productions’ first live action kids series, Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures, has been greenlit for production thanks to backing from Network Ten, ZDF Enterprises, Screen Australia and the South Australian Film Corporation.

The 26 x 24-minute series, which will be produced in South Australia at South Australian Film Corporation studios, targets kids ages eight to 12 and will debut on Australia’s Network Ten. ZDF Enterprises will handle international distribution.

The new series is based on the bestselling books (pictured) by popular children’s author, Justin D’Ath. Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures is a comedy adventure following teenager Sam Fox as he journeys from oceans to jungles facing everything from killer sharks and man-eating leopards to tornadoes, volcanoes and scorpions.
