Indie Canadian producer Sinking Ship Entertainment has seen its Dino Dan TV property turned into digital interactive storybooks thanks to a new deal with book apps publisher Ruckus Media Group.

Ruckus’ three story-driven iReaders based on the hit kids series are now available for the iPad platform.

The mobile applications teach children about dinosaurs, while giving parents updates on their starting-to-read child’s apprehension skills.

Dino Dan: Ruckus Reader combines live action and 3D animated dinosaurs as they follow dinosaur enthusiast Dan Henderson and his friends uncovering clues about the lives of dinosaurs.

Ruckus Reader earlier gave entertainment properties like Transformers, My Little Pony and Crayola the iReader treatment.
