FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has signed a new deal with tween apparel company Review Fourteen for a range of Rebecca Bonbon branded clothing for girls in the European retail chain Peek & Cloppenburg.
T-shirts and long-sleeve tops will be available in 72 stores across Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands, supported by point of sale activity including competitions and giveaways.
Rebecca Bonbon is a Parisian French bulldog fashionista created by original Hello Kitty designer Yuko Shimizu. FME has exclusively represented Rebecca Bonbon globally (excluding Japan and Korea) on behalf of Crown Creative since 2008.
Across EMEA Rebecca Bonbon has more than 25 licensees creating branded products such as apparel, jewellery, bags, stationery, bedding, blankets, credit card holders, mobile covers, home decorations and accessories.
In Germany licensees for the brand include Goldbuch (stationery), OTTO (apparel for young women), Reinders Posters (home decoration), Trend Import (accessories, stationery and home textiles), and Avenir Telecom (mobile covers)
In France, gifts and accessories company Alpa produce more than 60,000 branded Rebecca Bonbon products; the Leomil Group create branded footwear and various apparel; and French retailer MOA signed a deal to stock Rebecca Bonbon jewellery and accessories across their EMEA-wide network of stores.
